Try cooking Japanese food in Osaka at this one-day cooking workshop!

The flow of the class

1.Watch the original class material (Approximately 5 min.)

First, the participants will watch a video which briefly introduces the cooking flow and the history of the Japanese food.
The video provides subtitles for English and Chinese.

2.Preparing for cooking

Next, you’ll prepare for the cooking.
The apron provided here are designed like a kimono.
There are various types, so you can choose the one you prefer.

3.Cooking

During the lesson
The participants will make some dishes other than sushi or tempura.
The lecturer will neatly explain the ways to cook and the ingredients, so it is easy for beginners to understand each step.
Participants can taste the food while cooking so that they can try making them by themselves.

4.Plating

Plating
After the dishes are cooked, next step is to plate it.
The dishes being used here are traditional plates so that you can feel the interesting Japanese culture not only through the meal by also through the design.

5.Eating

Before eating
After everything is prepared, you can eat the dishes after saying “itadakimasu” (a Japanese greeting before eating).
Enjoy eating the meal while recalling all the steps it took to finish the food.
