Rent a Kimono at Shinsaibashi as a memory of Osaka

In Japan, many people have worn a traditional kimono or yukata clothing for fireworks or festivals, but recently we see more people wearing these clothing regardless of events.

Especially, these Kimono are popular among foreign tourists, and we see many people walking around in their beautiful Kimono.

“Kyoto Kimono rental Wargo Osaka Daimaru Shinsaibashi store” is inside the south building of Daimaru Shinsaibashi. It is close to Subway Shinsaibashi station and has great access to Umeda and also Namba.

The store offers over 200 kinds of Kimono for women, and also over 100 kinds for men as well.

The price differs between how you order your kimono, but via the web, you can rent a kimono from 2500Yen (Taxes not included).

Not only can you rent Kimono but you can also rent kanzashi(hairpins), zouri(sandals), and other items to suit your Kimono. (Some may cost an additional charge)

All of the items can be picked by yourself so you can enjoy the Kimono and other items that best suits you. This idea comes from the store’s policy of “enjoying kimono before even wearing it”.

Your hair will be neatly done by professional and the staff will kindly teach you how to wear the Kimono (There may be an extra charge.)

After you have put on your Kimono, you can take a photograph and print it out at the store for a memory of your travel. (Extra charge)

To wear the Kimono, it will only take 30 minutes, so if you are thinking of giving up wearing a kimono because it may take too long to wear, there are no worries. Many travelers come just to take a photograph, so if you don’t have much time, a quick visit just for a photograph is absolutely no problem.

If it’s not too much, the store will keep your luggage while you walk outside in your kimono.
