Today, we would like to show you what is inside this “CAVE.”

Stepping through the door and you will find yourself walking past the rocky walls decorated with plants. On the walls are some Egyptian paintings.

What is this place…?

Walking past the thin aisle, a room will appear. This room is an Izakaya(Japanese pub). With a counter and a large table in the middle, you will forget that you are in the middle of a crowded city, Osaka.

Not only is the izakaya special looking but the food is special too. Out of the wide range of menus, our recommendation is the homemade pizza. Although it does take a bit of time to serve as it is baked with care, the taste is fantastic. Many people come again because they cannot forget the taste.
Pasta and the dish of the day are also recommended. For people coming in groups, the izakaya has an all you can drink/eat menu.

A variety of snacks is also ready for people who have already eaten at another restaurant and have come just for the drink.

The set menu that is just an extra 500 yen to your drink changes every day, so there is always something new to look forward too. The photo above is what was served one day for the set menu.

A great place for welcome/farewell parties. Sometimes the izakaya holds a live jazz performance. Good music with good food and drinks. You can’t ask for more, can you?

According to the owner of this izakaya, the theme of this place is “nature.” He wanted to make an oasis in the middle of the city for everyone to enjoy. The entrance was inspired by the famous movie Indiana Jones.

Many people are surprised by this atmosphere on their first arrival.

The calm atmosphere of this izakaya is brilliant for dinner parties too. The izakaya has been running for 26 years from 1991 and has been loved by the local people for a long time. Not only the local people stop by but also many travelers and even TV stars come to this izakaya.

One thing that the owner especially loves about the izakaya is the seats upstairs. Many couples enjoy the comfortable room surrounded by rocks. (watch out for the steep stairs)
