Nakanoshima Park

The urban oasis where roses bloom in the Spring and Fall, “Nakanoshima Park”

Nakanoshima Park is a park located between Dojima river and Tosabori river.
Within the park, there are 3,700 roses of approximately 310 species.
They can be enjoyed the best during mid-May and mid-October.
At the end of December, the park decorates itself with illuminations and becomes crowded with visitors.
Near the park, there are historical buildings such as Osaka City Central Public Hall and Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library, and the view is registered as one of the “100 Osaka Nature Spots.”

The nature-filled oasis


Nakanoshima Park is a narrow park that is 3km in length, located between Dojima river and Tosabori river.
At the park, many businessmen come to enjoy their lunch break in nature.

The beautiful colors and scent


The center of the park is neatly maintained, and the rose garden there which blooms its flowers in May and October is especially popular.
In the season, the flowers with different colors bloom across 500 meters.

The perfect photo location


The rose garden is beautifully laid out three-dimensionally using arches, stands, and poles.
The roses at Nakanoshima Park is planted to gradually bloom, so the flowers can be enjoyed throughout a fairly long period.

The park loved by locals


The park is open all day, so you can visit there at the time you prefer.
The park is connected to Tenjinbashi bridge with a lope, but if you are going there on a bike, it is recommended to push it to prevent accidents.

Enjoying the city of water in the nighttime


During its season, the park lights up the roses to show a different aspect of the flowers.
The area surrounded by rivers and buildings introduces us to a different scenery in the nighttime.
