Natanegoku Festival (spring ritual in Kawachi)

Special festival where Natanegoku is given away.

Sister Kakuju, the aunt of Lord Michizane, ground rice from meals she set for daily in his absence and made it into yellow dumplings in the shape of plums.
They were said to be effective for healing sickness, so worshippers all wanted one, and so it has come to be a popular “spring ritual in Kawachi”.
The Children’s Parade starts at 13:00 on the day.
Rape blossoms are offered, commemorating the field of rapeseed when he stopped there on the way to Dazaifu after being issued with the decree of demotion.
