Tennoji Zoo, an urban style zoo with a long history and a good access!
This zoo, located in Tennoji park, is the 3rd oldest zoo in Japan.
There are 1000 animals of 200 species in the zoo.
The must-see area of the zoo is the Africa Savanna Zone, which its design has been inspired by the national park of the East African region. With its real-like environment, you can see lions, giraffes, and zebras in a natural form.
In sheep area, you can feed them and can interact with animals through events.
Here in the 2nd largest zoon in Japan, you can see rare animals like koalas and polar bears too.

Tennoji Zoo is located inside Tennoji Park and has a history of more than 100 years. There are about 1000 animals of 200 species in the zoo.
