The name of the area Tennoji derives from Shitennoji temple, and it has been playing an important role for the local community.
A five-storied pagoda rest within the area and its beautiful design draw the attention of the tourists.
The gate protected by Nio guardians
The main gate of the temple is located on the south side of the main building with the two statues of Nio guardians.
The pagoda can be seen from between the two statues making this location a perfect place to take pictures.
